Come celebrate Canada’s Parks Day by taking in a guided hike up the beautiful Cheam Ridge Regional Trail. Park interpreters will share knowledge about the alpine plants and wildlife. The view can be amazing on a clear day and the wildflowers should be in full bloom.

When: Saturday July 17, 2010

Where: Cheam Ridge Regional Trail.

Time: Meet at 8:00 am at Thompson Regional Park to carpool.

Vehicles leave at 8:15 am for Cheam Ridge. Hiking from 9:15 am to about 3:30 pm.

What to Bring: Proper hiking footwear, clothing, water and lunch and camera and binoculars. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended to reach Cheam Ridge Regional Trail’s parking lot.
