Description
The Fraser Valley Watersheds Coalition is hoping to hold a WetlandKeepers project at Silverdale Wetland in Mission April 13, 14, 15th 2012 (dependant on grant funding). BC Wildlife Federation's Wetlandkeepers projects are 2 1/2 day events that educate participants about wetland restoration, rehabilitation and conservation, while enhancing the wetland site. It provides an excellent networking opportunity, and great skills to add to a resume with practical, hands-on learning, taught by experts and practitioners. Wetlandkeepers will teach wetland mapping, wetland hydrology, amphibian, plant and animal identification and soil sampling. The successful completion of the Wetlandkeepers will result in a certificate.

The approximate cost for this would be $100 (admission may be less with successful grant funding)
