Highway 7 (Mission) Compensation Project

Based on the early successes of the Evans Road Compensation Project, the Coalition has recently been engaged to help deliver fisheries compensation requirements associated with the Wren to Nelson widening of the Lougheed Highway in Mission. Partnering with the BC Ministry of Transportation, Ducks Unlimited, DFO, District of Mission, and the Stave Valley Salmonid Enhancement Society, the Coalition is the lead on identifying and restoring nearly 38,000 m2 of fish habitat associated with this project by 2013.
