Description
Come out and plant some trees!
When: Saturday April 17, 10 am - 1 pm. Lunch provided.
Where: Farm gate immediately south of Bertrand Creek on 264 Street - about 400 m north of 16th Avenue. There will be an orange pylon at the gate.
The site is on a commercial blueberry farm. The creek through the property was diverted last summer through a newly constructed meandering channel featuring spawning riffles,lots of habitat features and a much wider riparian area - which needs to be planted. It is high quality habitat for Salish sucker, Nooksack dace, coho, cutthroat and steelhead.
